Hamish Forrest is a 16-year-old racing driver from the UK, who has made rapid progress through the motorsport ranks in just a few years. Known for his bravery, consistently and exceeding expectations, Hamish has demonstrated exceptional speed and adaptability in every category he has competed in, allowing him to rapidly climb the motorsport ladder and establish himself as one of the UK’s most promising and in demad young talents.

2025
Start of the year
Hamish kicked off the 2025 season in impressive fashion. With only two practice days in the Radical SR3 XRR before the opening race weekend, he delivered an outstanding performance by securing P2 in his first-ever qualifying session.
Although his debut race was cut short due to contact from another driver at Turn 1 on the opening lap, Hamish remained composed and determined. He bounced back immediately, claiming double P2
in the remaining two races of the weekend, along with multiple fastest laps.
His strong momentum continued throughout the season, adding five more podiums before achieving a breakthrough victory at Zandvoort. There, Hamish dominated the field by qualifying on pole position by over half a second and shattering the lap record, marking a standout highlight of his season.
The championship battle
Hamish remained locked in a fierce championship battle throughout the season, with the title fight going right down to the final round at Donington Park. Although he ultimately missed out on the championship, he secured the 2025 Vice Champion title — an extraordinary achievement in his debut year of car racing!
Hamish consistently delivered standout performances, proving his talent,determination, and ability to compete at the front. It became clear that he had once again made his mark in motorsport — this time within the car racing paddock—turning heads across the field with his speed, composure, and race-craft t. hroughout the season.
Sucesses of the year
Hamish enjoyed outstanding success throughout the 2025 season, securing two victories on track, along with nine second-place finishes and four third-place results — an impressive total of 14 podiums, out of a possible 18.
His pace was further highlighted by setting two new lap records, underscoring his speed, consistency, and growing reputation as a formidable competitor.
2024
The transition into car racing

On to car racing!
At the end of the 2024 season, Hamish entered the Wera Tools & Radical Cup UK Scholarship, marking an important step in his transition into car racing and showcasing his commitment to progressing within the sport.

Winning the Radical Scholarship!
Hamish continued to impress throughout the scholarship assessment day, demonstrating exceptional speed and confidence from the outset. His performance stood out among a highly competitive field, ultimately earning him joint victory in the Wera Tools & Radical Cup UK Scholarship, alongside Rachel Robertson — who would go on to become his teammate for the 2025 season.

This achievement secured Hamish a place on the 2025 Radical Cup UK grid, competing with the support of Wera Tools and the Alliance Racing Academy Team. It marked a significant milestone in his career, providing a strong platform for his debut season in car racing.

End of the year
At the end of 2024, Hamish began his transition into car racing at the earliest opportunity, determined to gain as much experience as possible
His commitment, discipline, and drive to progress quickly set the foundation for his career in car racing.

Ginetta winter series & scholarship
In October 2024, Hamish entered the Ginetta Junior Scholarship, marking his first experience in a race car.
He immediately showcased his natural speed and talent, quickly establishing himself as one of the fastest drivers on track. While he did not win the scholarship,
Hamish delivered a highly impressive performance, finishing 6th out of 75 drivers.
His pace and professionalism attracted multiple offers from teams for the 2025 season, further highlighting his potential in car racing.
To round out 2024 and officially begin his car racing career, Hamish chose to compete in the world famous Ginetta Junior Winter Series at Silverstone, taking another important step in his motorsport journey.

Succeses
Hamish approached Friday practice at Silverstone with almost no prior experience in the Ginetta Junior car.
With just 40 minutes in the car during the scholarship assessment, Hamish quickly adapted, showing remarkable pace and progression throughout the weekend.
His efforts culminated in a podium finish in class in Race Three, demonstrating his talent and determination, as he consistently ranked among the fastest drivers by the end of the event.
His performance at Silverstone further cemented his reputation as a rising star in world motorsport.

Start of the year
Hamish began the year with OMS Racing, competing in the club rounds leading up to the Wera Tools British Kart Championship.
Before the season started, an opportunity arose to join the AMG Mercedes F1 backed Argenti Team in the British Kart Championship and embrace the challenge ahead.
Stepping into the highest level of karting in the UK, Hamish faced a grid filled with some of the world’s best drivers.
With only one year of previous karting experience, he was by far the least. experienced competitor - most of his rivals had been racing for eight years or more.
Despite this, Hamish approached the season with determination, focus, and a commitment to learning from every lap.

Middle of the year
Racing for the prestigious Argenti Motorsport in the British Kart Championship, Hamish quickly established himself as a competitive force.
Throughout the season, he consistently ran at the front, frequently finishing in the top 5 demonstrating remarkable pace & race-craft.
Despite encountering a number of setbacks and bad luck over the course of the championship, Hamish’s talent shone through, and he ultimately secured the title of Top Rookie of the Year in the British Kart Championship.

Succeses of karting
This marked the conclusion of Hamish’s short but impactful karting career, as he made the transition into car racing.
Starting relatively late in motorsport, Hamish had limited time to gain experience, yet he still achieved notable success and consistently turned heads in the karting paddock.
His move to car racing represented a strategic step to accelerate his development, while continuing to build his reputation as a rising talent in motorsport.
2023
The start of his career

Hamish began his motorsport journey in rental karting in mid-2022, immediately making an impression by breaking the lap record at his local TeamSport track in Crawley, showcasing his natural speed and talent.
His career took a significant step forward in late 2022 when he entered the Xkart Scholarship.
Despite not winning the full scholarship, Hamish reached the final 12, impressing the team with his pace, focus, and determination.
As a result, he was invited back for an additional test day, where he further demonstrated his potential.
This led to a historic milestone: Hamish was signed as a factory driver for Xkart in 2023, becoming the first driver in the team’s history to be placed immediately in the factory team at the highest level of competition.

Successes of the year
The year 2023 was one of rapid progression and significant achievement for Hamish.
In his first full year of competitive racing, he claimed multiple wins and pole positions in the Junior Rotax category at some of the UK’s most prestigious club and national championships.
His performances firmly established him as a rising talent in the karting paddock, making a strong impression in his debut season.

End of the year
At the end of 2023, Hamish parted ways with Xkart and joined OMS Racing, competing in the Junior X30 class for the final races of the year.
This move set the stage for his 2024 campaign, providing new opportunities to develop his skills and continue progressing through the karting ranks.

Hamish makes the move to GT racing
Hamish is looking to race in the ADAC GT4 Germany championship in 2026. He is working tirelessly to gather the funding and sponsorship necessary to get on the grid. ADAC GT4 Germany is a support race on the DTM package and can get up to 100 thousand fans attending the race weekend.
You may be thinking how can I help? Hamish is available for any talks about partnerships and sponsorships with companies and businesses. The total budget for the year is around £150,000 but he has many packages available ranging from different amounts of funding.
